What Fitting Involves
Oil level is measured from the top of the tube with the fork compressed and the spring removed. The job needs no special tools beyond a fork spring compressor and a measuring rod for the oil level. Springs are supplied ready to fit; no cutting, grinding or packing is needed.
Road Approval
Road approval: no separate certificate. The spring changes the rate, not the construction of the fork, and is treated as a service part.
