The JP ACC DU020 changes how far the Panigale V4 S's grip has to turn and nothing else, which is a smaller claim than most cockpit parts make and an easier one to keep.

Semi-Active Superbike
The S adds electronic suspension and forged wheels to the Panigale V4. It is the specification most owners bought and the one that turns up at track days.
Sixty Degrees
The grip reaches full opening in sixty degrees of rotation where the standard assembly wants considerably more. The hand ends up doing less work for the same result.
Riding Modes
Rain, road, sport and whatever else the manufacturer offers all continue to work exactly as they did. The assembly reports an angle and nothing more.
Corner Exit
Opening from closed to wide on a fast exit is where the shorter sweep pays. The hand does it in one movement instead of two.
Not a Fix for a Sticky Throttle
A throttle that returns slowly usually has a cable, a bearing or a routing problem. Replacing the assembly hides the symptom rather than solving it.
Superbikes
Clip-ons already place the wrist low, and a long standard sweep on top of that is what forces the hand to shuffle mid-corner.
A Component That Reports
The grip's only output is an angle. Everything a rider feels afterwards is the controller's interpretation of that angle through whichever mode is selected.
Cruise Control and Heated Grips
Cruise control works through the controller's own inputs and cancels at the brake, the clutch and the switch exactly as before. Heated grips are the real question, because the element is bonded to the standard tube on many models and does not transfer.
Checking It Later
There is no service interval, but the clamp screws are worth a glance whenever the bar is being worked on. Everything else about the part is fit and forget, because there is nothing inside to wear or lubricate.
