The JP ES 007 replaces the secondary air solenoid on the Multistrada 1260 with a sealed connector that keeps the instrument panel clear and the fault memory genuinely empty.

Desmodromic Variable Timing
Both camshafts adjust independently, which is unusual and is the reason the 1260 pulls cleanly from three thousand revolutions where the 1200 would not.
After a Termignoni
A racing system removes the restriction that was muffling the reaction. Owners fit the exhaust, hear the crackle and assume the exhaust caused it.
Type Approval
The system belongs to the motorcycle's approval in every market that mandates it, and deleting it moves the machine into competition use there.
Fitted With an Exhaust
Almost every Ducati that gets this part also gets a silencer, and doing both in one session means the new system is never blamed for a noise it did not cause.
What a Workshop Reader Would See
Nothing at all, because the circuit answers the self-test rather than avoiding it. That matters when the motorcycle returns to a dealer for something unrelated.
Why the Aftermarket Bothers
Because the fault is common, the fix is simple and the manufacturer has no reason to offer one. It is what a good aftermarket part is for.

What the System Was Actually For
It exists because emissions legislation measures what leaves the exhaust, and burning leftover hydrocarbons in the pipe improves that measurement without changing anything about combustion. Understanding that is what makes the rest obvious: removing it cannot cost power, because it was never adding any, and it cannot hurt the engine, because it never touched the intake side at all.
The Wiring Stub Left Behind
Removing the valve leaves a short length of loom ending in a connector, and where that goes matters more than it sounds. Tied back against the frame it is invisible for the life of the motorcycle; left hanging it eventually finds a hot exhaust header or a moving cable. Two minutes with a cable tie is the difference between a clean job and one that comes back.
