DescriptionThe whole story▼
For the F3 675, the JP ACS 060 J is the machined throttle housing with JetPrime's logo milled into the side.
Key Features
- MV Agusta F3 675 (2012–2020)
- Machined from a single block of Ergal 7075
- JetPrime logo milled into the housing
- Short-stroke throttle cam
- Black anodised
- Uses the original throttle cables
An Engine That Turns the Wrong Way
The F3's crankshaft rotates against the wheels, which reduces the gyroscopic resistance to changing direction. MV was the first manufacturer to put the idea into a production motorcycle, and the handling difference is the reason people forgive the early electrical problems.
Milled Lettering
The logo is cut into the aluminium before anodising rather than printed on afterwards, so it carries the same finish as the body and cannot lift at an edge under a hand that rests there constantly.
Nine Model Years of Development
The F3 675 ran from 2012 to 2020 and MV spent much of that time refining the electronics that plagued early examples. Late bikes are reliable as well as extraordinary, which was not true of the first ones.
Corner Speed, Not Drive
A 675 triple has to be carried through a bend rather than fired out of it. That places a premium on smooth throttle application, and a shorter cam gives the rider more resolution over the range that actually determines the exit.
Mechanical Only
Cable throttle, original cables retained, nothing electrical touched. On an F3 that history makes the distinction worth drawing explicitly rather than assuming.
Or Without the Logo
JetPrime supplies the identical housing with a plain flank under a different number. On bodywork as carefully resolved as the F3's, that version is the one a good many owners prefer.
A Reputation Earned Twice
The F3 was praised for its chassis and criticised for its electronics in roughly equal measure during its first years. MV fixed the second problem and the first never needed attention, which is why late examples are now sought after.
