A seat cover takes the place of the pillion pad and turns a two-seat superbike into a single-seater for as long as it is fitted. On the 2015-2018 S1000RR that is a bigger visual change than on most machines, because the pillion pad is the one soft, upholstered element in an otherwise hard-edged tail.

Reversible, Which Is the Whole Argument
Nothing is cut and nothing is discarded. The pillion pad comes off and goes in a cupboard; the cover goes on. The motorcycle can be returned to standard in the time it takes to find the seat key, which is why this is a better first carbon purchase than anything structural.
It also means the part survives a change of mind and a change of owner. Very little else in this catalogue can say that.
Fitment and Compatibility
BMW S1000RR, model years 2015 to 2018, using the standard seat catch. The 2019-2022 and 2023-2026 machines take different covers, and the version for 2023 onwards includes the subframe section.
Road Approval
Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval number for this part. Covering the pillion seat can affect what the vehicle is registered to carry in some markets, so confirm the position for your own registration before road use.
Weave Choice on a Small Curved Panel
This is one of the few BMW articles offered in both fabrics. On a panel this size and this curved, plain weave holds its pattern more evenly around the shape, while twill shows more depth and a little more distortion where the surface turns.
Neither is wrong. Plain is the choice for a motorcycle whose other carbon is plain; twill matches the rest of the Fullsix BMW range. Raw in twill is the cheapest configuration and the most robust against the hands that will inevitably rest on it.
