DescriptionThe whole story▼
Wet grass, dew on the morning trail and a shower halfway through the ride are normal conditions for anyone who rides the Honda CRF150F through the year. Water on the disc delays the moment when the pads bite, and on a slippery slope that moment matters. Accossato offers its front pads for the CRF150F of 2003 to 2021 in the Sintered (ST) compound, which the company says keeps grip steady across temperatures and works well in the wet.
Key Features
- Sintered (ST) front pads for the Honda CRF150F, 2003 to 2021
- Accossato: constant, high grip hot and cold, good bite on a wet disc
- For riding in rain and on dewy morning trails
- Consistent lever feel across the seasons
- One set of two pads for the front caliper
- OR, STMX and EV1 variants of the same pad available
- No German ABE held; for competition and off-road use
Construction and Material Quality
In Accossato's description, the Sintered compound keeps a high grip level that stays constant from cold to hot and bites well on a wet disc. On a small trail bike ridden in all weather, the benefit is consistency: the lever feels the same on a cold, wet morning as on a warm afternoon. Accossato, today based in Villastellone near Turin, promises long life, strong deceleration and limited heating for all its pads.
Rain on the Trail
Rain turns a familiar trail into different ground, and the CRF150F rider has to adjust speed long before a steep descent. A front pad that responds quickly on a wet disc gives more confidence on those slopes. After a wet ride, rinse the caliper with clean water and let it dry, since grit held in the caliper wears the pads unevenly. Check the brake fluid now and then as well; old fluid absorbs water and makes the lever feel soft, whatever pads are fitted.
Fitment and Compatibility
This set is listed by Accossato for the CRF 150 F from 2003 to 2021. One box refits the single front caliper. Accossato names no other pads or discs for this model. Compare an old pad with the photo before ordering, then clean the caliper, fit the new pads and pump the lever until firm. Bed in the pads with some moderate stops.
Road Approval
The Sintered pads come without a German ABE or approval document; they are sold for competition and off-road riding.
Scope of Delivery
Two Sintered front pads, a complete set for the CRF150F's front caliper.
