DescriptionThe whole story▼
A GasGas EC 125 from the Spanish era is often on its second or third owner by now. These small two-stroke enduros came from Catalonia until 2015, and many are still ridden hard, by young riders and by people who simply like a light, uncomplicated bike. Keeping one in shape means renewing worn and broken parts one at a time, and the front brake lever is a frequent candidate. Accossato's B8206 fits the EC 125 from 2003 to 2015: a folding brake lever machined from Ergal 7075, offered in black, blue, gold or red.

Construction and Material Quality
An Italian part for a Spanish bike: Accossato's story began in 1969 in Moncalieri near Turin, where it built motorcycles for competition, and its off-road levers are still produced in Italy. The B8206 is CNC-machined from solid Ergal 7075, a high-strength aluminium alloy, with the stated intention of a lever that is strong, light and reliable. It consists of two parts. The dark base sits on the pivot at the front brake master cylinder; the coloured blade is joined to it by a hinge that allows folding. The blade is short, drawn for three fingers.
An Older EC 125, Refreshed
Older enduro bikes wear out in predictable places: bearings, seals, cables and levers. On an EC 125 that has been ridden for years, the original brake lever has often been bent and straightened, shortened by a fall or replaced with whatever was to hand. Its pivot hole may have worn as well, letting the lever rattle slightly. A new lever is one of the simplest ways to make an old bike feel tight again at the controls, and it is the part the right hand touches every time the rider brakes.
The B8206 adds something the original lever never had: a joint that allows the blade to swing forward when the bike falls on its right side. For a bike often ridden by younger riders, or taken to trails where its owner is still learning, that matters. It does not ensure the lever survives a crash, but it improves the chances. The colour choice adds a small personal touch as well: red goes with the familiar GasGas red, gold stands out against it, and black keeps the front end plain.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists the B8206 for the GasGas EC 125 from 2003 to 2015, years in which the bike was built by the original Spanish company. It takes the place of the stock lever on the front brake master cylinder the bike already has. For the clutch side of the EC 125 Accossato offers the C7283 folding lever for the same years; it comes in black, blue, orange or red, so gold is available on the brake lever only.
Road Approval
The B8206 comes with no German ABE. EC 125s are often road-registered, but the lever is intended for off-road use and is not approved for public roads.
