DescriptionThe whole story▼
Rain that creeps in at the top of the visor and a whistle at motorway speed are the two ways a tired visor seal makes itself known. JO83010P is Shark's VISOR RUBBER SEAL, the strip round the eye port that the visor closes against.
Key Features
- Visor seal, supplier line VISOR RUBBER SEAL
- No colour or code given by Shark
- One size, listed weight 45 g
- 6.65 EUR, list price 7.39 EUR
- Sibling: JO8200P in black
When to replace it
Replace the seal when it has gone hard, cracked or flat, when it pulls out of its channel, or when the visor no longer closes evenly against it. Shark does not name a helmet for JO83010P; check the number on your old seal. JO8200P is another VISOR RUBBER SEAL, in black at 3.05 EUR, with its own number.
Keeping it serviceable
Wipe the seal with a damp cloth whenever you clean the visor, so grit does not grind into it. A light wipe with a rubber-safe care product keeps it supple; avoid solvent cleaners.
