Outer tubes hold the bushings and the seal head, so their bore finish matters as much as the inner tube's outside.

Key Features

Öhlins part number 21627-39

Original Öhlins service part

What It Is

Öhlins publishes no separate dimension for this position, so the part number carries the identity. Öhlins machines the axle clamp so it grips without pulling the fork out of alignment. A fork tube that has been bent is scrap: straightening changes the wall and it bends again. The fork bottom carries the axle and takes the braking load into the fork.

Genuine Service Part

Parts remain available years after a unit leaves the current price list, which is unusual in this trade. The part is identical to what Öhlins fits in production — same supplier, same specification. If you are unsure which number your unit takes, send us the model and serial number of the damper and we will look it up. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise.

Identifying the Right Part

21627-39 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. It houses the compression assembly on most Öhlins cartridge forks. A marked inner tube destroys seals repeatedly until it is replaced.

Fitting and Setup Service

If you would rather not open the damper yourself, we can do it — we are an authorised Öhlins service centre and rebuild these units as a matter of routine.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21627-39

Category: Fork Bottoms

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21627-39_479ed0c4-7ff8-4af2-94cf-d6d512efc8c6.png?v=1788879697
