The JP ACC MV002 swaps the Stradale 800's throttle assembly for one cut from solid aluminium, with an internal profile that reaches full opening in sixty degrees.

The Touring Triple
MV added a screen, luggage and a longer subframe to the 800 and produced something genuinely comfortable. Very few were built and fewer still are seen.
Grip Rubber
The tube takes a standard grip. Anybody moving an expensive pair across should expect to cut the old ones off rather than persuade them.
Why the Controller Needs Teaching
It stores what a closed throttle looks like as a voltage. Change the assembly and that stored figure belongs to a component no longer fitted.
Quickshifters
The shift sensor sits at the gear lever and the strategy sits in the controller. Neither has any relationship with the throttle assembly.
Designed to Feel Mechanical
Ride-by-wire removed the spring weight and the friction that told a rider where the throttle was. The intent here is to put a recognisable feel back at the hand.
Why Manufacturers Choose a Long Sweep
A generous rotation makes a powerful motorcycle forgiving to a rider who is not concentrating. It is a safety decision and a sensible one for a showroom.
Two Screws and a Connector
That is genuinely all that holds the assembly to the motorcycle. The work is short and the care goes into the reassembly rather than the removal.
Mapping Is a Different Question
A flashed controller changes what the engine does for a given opening. This assembly changes how far the hand travels to reach that opening. Both get described as sharpening the throttle, which is why they are confused, and fitting both is common.
Two Bikes, One Rider
A short-stroke throttle on one machine and a standard one on another takes some adjustment each time the garage door opens. Most owners settle into it, but it is worth knowing before fitting the part to only half the fleet.
