The JP ACC DU020 gives the Multistrada 950 a throttle assembly cut from solid Ergal, with the rotation shortened to sixty degrees and the electrical side left alone.

The Smaller Multistrada
Ducati built the 950 for riders who found the 1200 too much motorcycle. The riding position is tall and wide, and the throttle is held open for hours at a time rather than snapped.
What Is in the Box
The throttle assembly itself. Grips, bar ends and switchgear are the rider's own and carry over from the standard unit.
Traction Control
It reads wheel speeds and lean angle, not the grip. Changing the throttle assembly gives it nothing new to work with and takes nothing away.
Small Hands
Riders who never reached full throttle comfortably on a standard assembly usually notice this part more than anybody else does.
Designed to Feel Mechanical
Ride-by-wire removed the spring weight and the friction that told a rider where the throttle was. The intent here is to put a recognisable feel back at the hand.
The Reset After Refitting
Putting the standard assembly back needs the same routine run again. It is easy to forget on the way out of a conversion rather than into one.

A machine that never leaves a circuit is the clearest case here. There is no traffic to meter, no pillion to consider and no wet commute to survive.
Reversibility Is the Point
Nothing is cut, drilled or modified. The standard assembly goes into a bag with its fasteners and refits in half an hour. That matters at a warranty appointment and in front of a buyer. The only thing to remember is that the reset runs again on the way back.

A dealer, an independent workshop with the right interface, or an owner who already has a tool for that make. It takes minutes once the machine is connected and it is the same procedure used after a throttle body service.
