Two and a Third Litres
Triumph's inline three is the largest production motorcycle engine anybody makes, and its fuelling is about managing torque rather than finding it.
Air Filters Specifically
A less restrictive filter changes airflow across the whole map rather than at one point. Correcting that properly needs a surface, not a single percentage.
Two Owners, One Bike
The map lives in the unit, not in the rider. Anybody who rides the motorcycle gets whatever was last written, which is worth remembering on a shared machine.

The Second Owner
A motorcycle sold with this fitted should come with its map file. Without it the next owner has a programmable unit and a blank sheet.
Heat Under the Seat
The unit lives where an engine has been working. It is built for that; pressing it against a rail that carries exhaust heat is still worth avoiding.
A Note on Warranty
An additional controller is visible and a dealer will see it. It unplugs in minutes and the motorcycle is standard, which is the whole reason to prefer this over a reflash.
What Changes on the Road
Nothing dramatic. The hesitation off a closed throttle disappears, the surge at a steady speed goes, and the engine answers the same way on every corner exit. Good mapping is felt as an absence.
