The JP CJP 082H carries no map at all when it arrives on the Vulcan 900 Classic: every cell reads zero and the motorcycle runs exactly as the factory intended until somebody changes that.

The Traditional One
A 903 cc vee twin with belt drive and wide bars. It does what a cruiser is supposed to do and makes no claims beyond that.

Those two axes define every operating point an engine ever reaches. A map with enough cells describes the whole of it, which is what complete management of the fuel map actually means.
The Learning Curve
Two evenings to understand the software, several more to produce something worth keeping. That is the honest estimate and it is the main reason people buy the other unit.

Fit the unit, leave the map empty, ride. Then log a few runs, look at where the mixture is wrong and start with the region that irritated you most.
A Realistic Timeline
An evening to fit and understand, a day to produce something usable, a season to refine it. That is what buying a blank map commits an owner to.
Full Throttle Last
It is a single line, it needs a dyno to read properly and it is the region a road bike visits least. Doing it first is a common and unproductive instinct.

JetPrime answer questions about their own software. Between that and the number of owners running these units, very little is genuinely uncharted.
Naming Files Properly
Motorcycle, exhaust, fuel and date. Six months and three exhausts later, a folder of files called map1 through map9 is worthless.
Two Configurations, Two Files
Road silencer and race can, pump petrol and race fuel, summer and winter. Each combination deserves its own map, and switching between them takes less than a minute once they exist.
