The JP KS DU021 puts a sealed button where the Panigale V4's ignition barrel was, saving weight in the one place on a motorcycle where it costs the most.

The 2025 Rebuild
A new frame, a revised riding position and a different yoke. Ducati redrew enough of the motorcycle that almost nothing at the front carries over.
What Comes Off
The ignition barrel, its bracket and the key that goes with it. On a machine that never leaves a circuit none of the three does anything useful.
The Button
A single sealed push button doing what the key did: arm the ignition, then kill it. There is nothing else to learn about operating it.
Vibration
A button on a yoke sees more of it than one on a handlebar. The body is machined and the switch is sealed for that reason.
Keyless Between Sessions
No fumbling with gloves on, no key left in a barrel while the bike sits on stands, and nothing to lose in a paddock full of people.
No Software
Nothing is flashed and no controller is told anything. The part is a switch and it behaves like one from the first ride.
What Does Not Change
Lights, indicators, switchgear, instruments and every electronic rider aid carry on exactly as before. Only the ignition circuit is touched.
Race Series Rules
A stop control has to be reachable and unambiguous. A sealed button in the standard yoke position generally is, but the rulebook decides.
Transport
A machine in a van with no ignition lock cannot be started by somebody leaning over the tailgate. It also cannot be locked, which cuts both ways.
Keyless in Practice
The bike is live when the button is pressed and dead when it is pressed again. Nothing is left in a barrel while the machine sits on stands, nothing rattles in a set of leathers, and nobody spends a session looking for a key in a paddock.
