The JP KS DU005 is the racing ignition switch for the Panigale 899, with the connector the motorcycle already has and nothing in the loom cut.

The Accessible Panigale
Ducati built the 899 for riders who found the 1199 too much motorcycle, and a great many of them ended up on club grids where the class suited the capacity.
What Comes Off
The ignition barrel, its bracket and the key that goes with it. On a machine that never leaves a circuit none of the three does anything useful.
Model Specific
The mounting, the connector and the plate shape all follow the motorcycle. There is no universal version and fitting the wrong one is not a shortcut.
Starting the Bike
The starter button stays where it was on the switchgear. This part replaces the ignition block and not the controls around it.
Fitting Time
Twenty minutes on most models, longer where the loom sits under the tank. Nothing about the job needs the front end apart.
Regulations Vary
Some series require a specific stop control position or a lanyard. Nothing here prevents that, but it is worth confirming before the machine reaches scrutineering.
Why Ergal
It machines cleanly, anodises well and takes a knock without deforming. On a part bolted to a yoke that gets leaned against, that matters.
The Immobiliser Question, Plainly
If the motorcycle needs the key present to start, the aerial must be dealt with. On many race-prepared bikes it already has been, by an ECU or a delete.
An Evening's Work at Most
Twenty minutes at the yoke plus whatever it takes to reach the loom. On some models the connector is visible as soon as the block lifts away.
What Stays Exactly as It Was
Switchgear, starter button, instruments, lighting, traction control, riding modes and every map in the engine controller. This part occupies the space the ignition block held and speaks to the ignition circuit only.
