Front and Rear
Two circuits, two monitored loads and two warnings if either is left open. The kit answers both in the same session.
No Fairing to Swap
On a naked bike the headlight simply unbolts, which makes it the quickest significant weight saving at the front of the motorcycle.
A Number Board Instead
Most track-prepared Tuonos gain a plate where the light was. It satisfies the organisers, weighs almost nothing and uses the same mounting points.
The Rear End
A race tail with a seat pad removes the lamp and the plate bracket together. Both are heavy and both sit behind the rear axle.
Load, Not Blanks
The eliminators present what each circuit expects rather than leaving connectors empty. Nothing appears and nothing is stored.
Ninety-Five Horsepower
Softened slightly from the RS 660 tune to suit the wide bars, which on a road makes the Tuono the quicker of the two more often than anyone admits.
One Evening
Both parts to hand means the front and the rear are done together rather than a week apart.
Nothing Spliced
Aprilia's own connectors at both ends, with the loom left exactly as the factory built it.
Reversible
Both standard assemblies refit at any point.

APRC From the RSV4
Traction, wheelie and engine brake control came down from the superbike largely intact rather than being reinvented at a lower cost. Very little in the middleweight class carries this much electronics even now.
Cheap to Run
Tyres, brakes and fuel all cost a fraction of what a litre bike consumes, which is why so many riders use a Tuono 660 for track days rather than something faster. The entry fee stops being the expensive part of the day.
