DescriptionThe whole story▼
The Sintered (ST) version of Accossato's AGPP91 rear pad fits the Zero FXS from 2016 to 2022. It is aimed at riders who use their electric supermoto in all weathers, on hill roads and sometimes with a passenger. The sintered mix is designed to keep a steady grip level regardless of temperature and to work reliably on wet roads, giving a consistent pedal feel through the seasons.
Key Features
- AGPP91 rear pads for the Zero FXS 2016-2022
- ZF3.3, ZF3.6 and ZF6.5 versions, per Accossato
- Sintered (ST) compound
- Steady grip hot or cold, as Accossato states
- Reliable in the wet
- Other compounds for this pad: OR, STMX
- Two pads per box
Construction and Material Quality
Accossato's claim for the sintered recipe is a grip level that stays high and even whether the pad is cold or hot, plus secure behaviour on a wet disc. Behind the small rear wheel of the FXS, that evenness turns the pedal into a dependable tool rather than a guess. Heat is kept in check as well, so a long downhill run where the foot rests on the brake does not leave the rear feeling tired at the bottom.
Descending in the Wet
Mountain villages often have steep, cobbled lanes that stay damp long after the rain has stopped. Rolling down one of those on the FXS, a light touch on the rear keeps the bike calm while the front waits for cleaner tarmac. The sintered rear pad is made to answer that touch the same way in January as in July. Riders who carry a friend on the back will notice the rear doing more of the stopping, and a stable response makes the ride smoother for both. Once home from a salty winter trip, a bucket of clean water over the rear caliper is cheap insurance against seized pistons.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato lists AGPP91 for the rear caliper of the Zero FXS ZF3.3 and ZF6.5 (2016 and 2017) and the ZF3.6 (2016 to 2022). The front pad for these bikes is AGPA92. Change both rear pads together, pump the pedal several times and bed the pads in with moderate stops. Check that the rear caliper slides freely on its mounting before closing everything up.
Road Approval
Accossato has not provided an ABE or test certificate for this pad, so it is listed for sport and competition use.
Scope of Delivery
Two sintered rear pads for one caliper.
