O-ring sizes are given as inner diameter and cross-section, and both have to match — a close size is not a match. Öhlins uses seals with a spring-loaded lip so they follow the shaft as it wears. Öhlins specifies seal compounds for temperature stability rather than for the lowest unit cost.

Original Öhlins Part

Parts remain available years after a unit leaves the current price list, which is unusual in this trade. Öhlins lists this part under its own number in the service catalogue so a workshop can order exactly what it needs. Öhlins parts are unit-specific: a close dimension is not a substitute. Öhlins numbers do not follow a logic you can guess — always read them from the documentation.

How to Be Sure It Fits

Order under 02014-01. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. inner diameter 46 mm, outer diameter 62 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Dust seals keep grit off the running surface; once they are torn, the oil seal behind them has a short life. Replacing seals at service intervals is far cheaper than replacing what a failed seal damages.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 02014-01

Category: Scrapers

Inner Diameter: 46 mm

Outer Diameter: 62 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/02014-01_f8d9deeb-dfa5-4e1e-8880-7dab8249378a.png?v=1788874006
