A soft reservoir usually means the bladder has failed rather than the gas has leaked. Öhlins pressure-tests hoses because they carry the full gas charge. A soft reservoir usually means the bladder has failed rather than the gas leaked.

Why the Original

Buying the individual part rather than a complete assembly is what makes servicing an Öhlins unit worthwhile. Öhlins supports its suspension with individual service parts, which is why a fifteen-year-old damper can still be rebuilt to specification. Where a number has been superseded, Öhlins states the replacement — we pass that on. If you are between two sizes, send us the measurement and we will check it against the catalogue.

Identifying the Right Part

Part number 00302-07 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. dimension a 44 mm, dimension b 150 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Hose length is part of the installation and cannot be changed freely. Hose-mounted reservoirs allow installation where a piggyback would foul the chassis.

Fitting and Setup Service

A damper rebuild is workshop work: it needs the unit dismantled, the shim stack rebuilt in the correct order and the gas charge reset. We are an authorised Öhlins service centre and do exactly that in house — send us the unit or ask us to fit the part with your order.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 00302-07

Category: Reservoirs

Dimension A: 44 mm

Dimension B: 150 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/00302-07_db93ba33-67be-4ece-b4ac-156048d5efdb.png?v=1788871591
