Performance on Road and Track

The piggyback reservoir separates the damping oil from the gas charge, eliminating aeration and cavitation that degrade damping consistency in conventional mono-tube units. The result is damping behaviour that remains predictable whether you are threading through a mountain pass or pushing hard through the final chicane. Rebound and compression circuits are independently adjustable, so dialling in the correct balance for your weight, tyre compound and riding style is straightforward and repeatable. The hydraulic preload adjuster adds a further layer of versatility, accommodating solo or two-up use without requiring spring changes.

The Öhlins TTX GP HO 469 is a direct-fit rear shock absorber for the following Honda models:

  • Honda CBR 600 RR (2007–2016) — supplied with German type approval (ABE). Approved for use on models without ABS only.
  • Honda CBR 600 RR (2017–2022) — German type approval (ABE) in preparation. For use on models without ABS only.

An installation manual is included in the box. For optimum results Öhlins recommends fitting by an authorised Öhlins Service Centre. Always verify ABS fitment before ordering.
