The number on the part matches the number in the drawing, which makes identification unambiguous. Öhlins does not sell service parts as pattern equivalents — there is one specification. Individual parts let a workshop replace only what is worn.

Genuine Service Part

Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. An original part keeps the unit within its published specification; a near-equivalent quietly moves it. Order by part number. The dimensions below are the ones Öhlins publishes for it. For a full rebuild, the seal kit plus the wear parts is usually the sensible order.

How to Be Sure It Fits

The reliable route is the exploded drawing: find the position, read the number, order it — 02228-13 in this case. This position has no published dimension, so the part number is the only reliable identifier. Service parts are what make an Öhlins unit worth rebuilding rather than replacing. Ordering by number from the exploded view is the reliable way to get the right piece.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 02228-13

Category: Service Parts

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/02228-13_9e388458-d76e-4465-a2bc-4b4c67140c14.png?v=1788871573
