The JP SPK 011 gives the GSX-R 750 a race bike's cockpit by replacing the ignition block with a single sealed button in the same position.

The Race Harness Version
A Yoshimura loom changes what the ignition circuit expects, and the switch for those machines carries its own number rather than being an option.
IP69K
The rating covers high-pressure, high-temperature washing. A switch sitting in the open above the front wheel needs it and most switches do not have it.
Not for a Road Bike
A registered motorcycle needs its steering lock and, in most places, its immobiliser. This part assumes the machine is used away from public roads.
Vibration
A button on a yoke sees more of it than one on a handlebar. The body is machined and the switch is sealed for that reason.
Steering Lock
It goes with the barrel. For a machine transported in a van that is irrelevant; for one parked in a street it is not.
Two Fasteners
That is usually all that holds the block to the yoke. The care goes into the connector rather than into the mechanics.
The Steering Lock
It leaves with the barrel, and there is no substitute in the new part. A motorcycle stored anywhere public needs a different answer.
Preparing a Machine for the Track
The lights come off, the mirrors come off and the number plate bracket follows. The ignition lock is on the same list and it is the one people leave until last.

Whether the original lock exists. A bike offered without it is a negotiation rather than a straightforward sale.
What Stays Exactly as It Was
Switchgear, starter button, instruments, lighting, traction control, riding modes and every map in the engine controller. This part occupies the space the ignition block held and speaks to the ignition circuit only.
