Two Hundred and Thirty-Nine Kilograms
Wet, which is heavy for a naked bike and entirely beside the point. The Z H2 is about the engine and always has been.
A Trellis Frame
High-tensile steel wrapped around the supercharged engine, chosen for flex characteristics rather than cost. It is visually unmistakable.
Gear and Stand Together
The controller reads both and acts only when they disagree. Neutral with the stand down is perfectly acceptable to it and always has been.
Kawasaki's Own Plug
No adapters and nothing spliced, which matters when the standard switch eventually goes back on with the stand.
Preparation Order
Lights, mirrors, plate, stand, then everything else. Fitting the eliminator immediately after the stand comes off means the engine will run in gear for the rest of the work, which is the only way anything else can be verified.
A Straight Swap
Unplug, plug in, secure the lead. There is no third step, no polarity to observe and no configuration of any kind.
Refit Before an Inspection
If the test covers the stand cut-out, the factory switch is back on the bracket in a few minutes and no consumable is involved.
On a Bike Being Prepared
The stand comes off with the mirrors, the plate and the lights, and none of it goes back until the motorcycle returns to the road. Fitting the eliminator then means the rest of the work can actually be tested.
Two Hundred Horsepower, Naked
The Z H2 makes supercharged power with no fairing and a wide handlebar, which is an unusual thing to take to a circuit and a considerable number of owners do exactly that.
