The Layout an R Deserves

A Short Stroke and High Revs
Ducati shortened the Stradale's stroke to meet the capacity limit and the rev ceiling followed. The internals exist to survive it rather than to look impressive.
Load Below Top Speed
The R's aerodynamics produce measurable downforce long before terminal velocity. The problem is keeping the front wheel planted under acceleration, not going faster in a straight line.
