The JP CJP 042B manages the fuel mixture on the R1200R across the whole operating range, which is what a racing exhaust and an open filter actually require.

The Injector Signal
Everything happens there. The unit lengthens or shortens a pulse the standard controller already issued, which is the least invasive way to change what an engine is fed.
