The JP CJP 014R corrects the RSV4 Factory's fuelling cell by cell rather than along a single curve, which is the difference between a map and a trim.

Variable Intake Trumpets
The Factory carries Aprilia's height-adjustable inlet horns, which change the tuned length as the revs rise. It is a mechanical answer to the same problem a fuel module addresses electronically.
Two Exhausts, Two Maps
An owner who runs a road silencer during the week and a race can at weekends can hold both maps on a laptop and write whichever one the motorcycle needs.
Sharing Maps
Owners of identical motorcycles with identical exhausts trade map files. It is a reasonable starting point and a terrible finishing point, because no two engines are identical.
A Rich Map Is Not a Safe Map
Excess fuel washes bores and fouls plugs. The target is correct, not generous, and a wideband is what tells the difference between the two.
Backups Before Every Session
Save, date the filename, then change things. The rule exists because everybody who ignores it loses an evening's work exactly once.
Race Fuel Needs Its Own Map
A different octane and a different energy content change the requirement. Two files, clearly named, and the discipline to write the right one before the session.

JetPrime answer questions about their own software. Between that and the number of owners running these units, very little is genuinely uncharted.
The Standard Sensor Still Trims
In the closed-loop region the factory oxygen sensor keeps correcting. Understanding where that region ends is essential, because inside it the map has less authority than the mapper expects.
The Wideband Bung
Most aftermarket exhausts have a spare boss or can take one welded in. Planning that before the exhaust is fitted saves taking it off again, which is the sort of thing nobody thinks about in advance.
