The Same Head
The 776 cc twin appears in three Suzukis and carries the same secondary air arrangement in all of them. One blank covers the whole platform.
What Comes Off
The reed housing, the hose to the airbox and the clips holding it. On an adventure bike that is three fewer things to work loose on a rough road.
Rally Preparation
Bikes built for long unsupported distances lose everything that can fail without warning. A plastic reed box on a hot cylinder head is exactly that kind of component.
The DE Version
A twenty-one inch front wheel, long travel and switchable traction control. Suzuki built a genuine off-road variant rather than a graphics package, and it changed how the model was received.
O-Ring Sealed
A turned groove and a rubber ring against a machined face. No sealant, no paper, nothing to scrape off in a field.
Before Any Fuelling Work
Unmetered air in the exhaust makes gas analysis meaningless, and a long-distance bike is usually mapped for economy rather than power. The readings have to be honest.
Three Model Years
The fitment covers 2023 to 2025. Suzuki introduced the platform recently and the head arrangement is unchanged.
Only the Mechanical Half
The ECU still watches its solenoid. That circuit needs the electrical eliminator before the dashboard stays clean.
Type Approval
Emissions equipment is part of the approval and removing it ends road legality in Europe. On a bike ridden across borders that matters more than usual.
Reversible
The original housing refits on its own fasteners. Keep the parts and the motorcycle returns to specification.
