The JP ES KIT19 is both halves of the secondary air deletion for the Monster 1200: the connector that satisfies the controller and the cover that closes the cylinder head.

Replaced by the 937
Ducati moved the Monster to a lighter aluminium-framed platform in 2021, which ended the trellis era and divided the model's following.
Torque Figures Matter
Ducati specifies a low figure for the head fasteners. Exceeding it is the commonest way a short job becomes a thread repair.

Fuel in the Tank While It Is Off
A full tank is heavy, awkward and easy to drop. Running it low before the job is worth more than any tool on the bench, and it makes the difference between lifting it clear alone and needing a second pair of hands.
The Mechanical Half in Detail
A cover machined from solid with its sealing groove cut in the same operation, closing the head's ports on an O-ring against the factory machined face. No jointing compound, no gasket to destroy on removal and nothing inside it that ages.
What to Have Ready
A torque wrench that reads accurately at low settings, a spare O-ring, a handful of cable ties and somewhere clean to put a fuel tank. That list is short because the job is short; the reason it matters is that stopping halfway through to find any of them means the tank sits on a bench overnight.
