The RC8 was KTM's only real superbike, and the R version remains the sharpest thing the factory ever sold to the public. Almost all of the survivors now live on track days, where the secondary air system is pure ballast. JP ES 010 removes the electrical obstacle to deleting it.

A Track Bike by Now
The RC8 has been out of production since 2016 and the ones still being modified are overwhelmingly circuit machines. On those, road-approval considerations are academic and the PAIR system is simply weight and plumbing across the top of a V-twin that has very little room to spare.
What It Actually Removes
A solenoid valve, its bracket, the hoses running to both cylinder heads and the reed valve assemblies at the ends of them. On an RC8 that plumbing sits directly in the way of anything else you might want to route across the engine — a datalogger harness, a lap timer, an oil temperature sender.
Fitting It
Access is the hard part on an RC8; the electrical side is one connector. Unplug the solenoid, plug the eliminator into the loom, and remove the valve with its hoses once the bodywork allows. Confirm the dashboard is clean before going further with the mechanical side.

Out of Production, Still Supported
The RC8 left KTM's catalogue in 2016 and model-specific parts have thinned steadily since. This eliminator is built around the LC8's PAIR circuit rather than around the model, which is why it remains available when RC8-specific items have long gone. Worth knowing if you are keeping one running.
