A Counter-Rotating Crankshaft
MV put a reverse-spinning crank in a middleweight, which changes how the motorcycle turns in a way riders notice within a single corner.
Fuel Consumption
Expect no meaningful change. A richer cruise setting costs a little and a smoother throttle hand saves a little, and in practice the two cancel. Nobody should buy this expecting to notice anything at the pump.

The Standard Electronics Are Untouched

The year span in the title is part of the product. Manufacturers change injector connectors and harness routing mid-generation, and a module cut for one span will not simply plug into the other.
What Happens at Full Throttle
The correction continues to apply, but a fully open throttle is a condition the factory maps carefully anyway. The differences there are smaller than at part load.
