The JP MJ 018 adds a fuel correction to the CBR 1000 RR-R where the factory map had to be careful, and does it without a laptop, a dyno session or a remap.

A MotoGP Bore and Stroke
Honda gave the RR-R the shortest stroke in the class and a rev ceiling to match. It makes almost nothing below eight thousand and everything above it.
Diagnostics Still Work
Because nothing is written to the original controller, the service history stays readable and any fault the motorcycle develops is reported normally. A masked fault memory is one of the real costs of the alternatives.
The Closed Loop Window
Modern controllers only trim against the oxygen sensor in a narrow band of load and revs. Outside that band the map runs open loop, and that is exactly where an added correction has room to work.

A high-flow filter shifts things the same way. Owners running both an exhaust and a filter are the furthest from the factory calibration and have the most to gain.
Heat
Under a seat is warmer than most owners assume once an engine has been working. The module is built for it, but pressing it against a subframe rail that carries exhaust heat is still worth avoiding.
Tank Off Models
A minority of machines route the harness under the tank, which turns the job into an hour. The listing does not say which, so a look underneath before ordering saves an evening.
