The JP ES 002 clears the charcoal canister out of the Streetfighter V2 955 and provides the tank vent that has to replace it, which is the part nobody should improvise.

A Naked Panigale V2
Ducati removed the fairing, raised the bars and kept the 955 cc Superquadro-derived twin. It is the most usable Streetfighter the company has built.
No Service Interval
Nothing in Ducati's schedule inspects or replaces the carbon. It works for some years and then quietly stops, with no warning of any kind.
Reversible
Vessel, bracket and hoses all refit in their original positions, so an inspection or a sale can be answered with the standard arrangement back in place.
Chafing on an Adventure Bike
Lines running behind the engine rub against brackets on rough ground, and a split vapour hose is a fuel smell and a fault code somewhere inconvenient.
Nothing in the Schedule
Ducati specifies no inspection, no replacement interval and no test for the carbon. It is fitted, it works for some years and then it stops.
Vapour Volume Scales With the Tank
A twenty litre tank in the sun produces considerably more than a fifteen litre one, and the canister is the same size on both. The touring models reach saturation sooner.
A Note in the Service Book
One line. It prevents somebody else diagnosing an evaporative system that the motorcycle has not carried for three years.
Reversible, With the Parts Kept
Nothing is cut and every original fitting refits on its own hardware. Bagging the canister, the valve and the hoses together is what makes an inspection or a resale straightforward rather than an expensive scramble for used parts.
Fuel Level and the Vent
A tank that cannot breathe pulls a vacuum as it empties, and the symptom is an engine that starves after forty minutes and runs perfectly the moment the filler cap is cracked open. Owners chasing that fault rarely suspect the vent, which is why the fitting supplied with the kit matters more than it looks.
