The JP ES 002 removes the evaporative emissions hardware from the Multistrada 1200 and frees the space it occupied, which on most models is space somebody else already wants.

Four Bikes in One
Ducati's marketing claim for the original Multistrada, and unusually for marketing it was broadly true. The riding modes genuinely changed what the motorcycle was.
The Tank Still Breathes
Fuel drawn out has to be replaced by air coming in, so the kit supplies a proper vent fitting rather than leaving a hose to find its own way.
Hard Starting With a Full Tank
The clearest single symptom of a saturated bed, and almost nobody notices the pattern. Owners chase batteries and injectors before anybody mentions the canister.
Two Ends, Two Answers
The tank needs a vent and the controller needs a circuit. A kit supplying only one leaves half a conversion and its own set of complaints.
Refit for a Test
Where an emissions inspection includes a visual check, the standard arrangement goes back in an evening. Keeping the parts is what makes that possible.

Nothing is cut and every original fitting refits on its own hardware. Bagging the canister, the valve and the hoses together is what makes an inspection or a resale straightforward rather than an expensive scramble for used parts.
Doing It With the Tank Off
The tank has to come off anyway to reach the upper hoses, and with it out of the way the whole system is visible at once. Photographing the routing before anything is disconnected takes a minute and saves an argument with yourself later about which line went where.
