DescriptionThe whole story▼
The 1299 Panigale of 2015 to 2017 has the largest Superquadro twin Ducati built, with 1285 cc and a huge amount of engine braking when the throttle closes. For the Ducati Panigale 1299, this VCR38GT rearset brings a feature many riders of big twins appreciate: a rear brake pedal whose resistance can be adjusted.
Key Features
- Standard or reversed (race) shift pattern
- Carbon fibre heel protection
- Folding footpegs, as the road approval requires
- Pedal length adjustable to your boot
- CNC-machined 7075 aluminium
- Road legal in Germany under ABE No. KBA 90982
Rear brake and engine braking
On a big twin, engine braking and the rear brake work together on corner entry. With an adjustable pedal resistance, you decide how much force it takes to bring in the rear brake, which makes it easier to add just enough without locking the wheel while the engine is already decelerating hard.
With the Ducati quickshifter
The system works with the original Ducati quickshifter and supports the standard as well as the reversed shift pattern. The shift lever carries a small roller that reduces the effort needed to shift, and an integrated micro switch operates the brake light.
Road Approval
Road legal on the Ducati Panigale 1299 under ABE No. KBA 90982. Follow the fitting instructions and nothing has to be inspected or entered; keep a printed copy of the ABE with the vehicle papers.
Scope of Delivery
Both sides of the rider rearset come ready to fit: adapter plates, peg carriers with folding footpegs, brake pedal, shift lever with linkage and carbon fibre heel protection. The fitting instructions and the ABE certificate are included. Note that the product photos show optional rigid pegs from the Gilles accessory range; the system itself is supplied with folding pegs.
