The newer of Spark's two World Supersport systems for the Panigale V2. In the dealer price list GDU8852T carries the flag RR, which Spark's own legend reads as "racing item, latest evolution". GDU8836T, the WSSP system already in our catalogue, carries a single R. That letter is the only place the difference between them is written down.
Key Features
- WSSP full titanium system for the Ducati Panigale V2 955 and the Panigale 959.
- Titanium collector with a stainless-steel cylinder section.
- Two rectangular silencers, mounted underseat.
- Flagged RR in the dealer list: racing item, latest evolution.
- Racing part with no homologation entry in the list.
- 4,035 euro against 3,559 for the earlier WSSP build.
R and RR Are Not the Same Row
Spark marks every article in the dealer list with a flag, and the legend at the front of the list defines them. R is a racing item. RR is a racing item in its latest evolution. GDU8836T and GDU8852T sit in the same group, on the same two motorcycles, under the same one-line description: titanium collector with a stainless cylinder and two silencers.
What Spark does not do is say what changed. There is no revision note against the number, and Spark's own website returns nothing when you search for it - the article exists in the trade list and not on the public site. We are not going to fill that gap with a guess. What is documented is the flag and the price, and the two point the same direction.
Where the 476 Euro Sit
The gap to GDU8836T is 476 euro. It is worth knowing what that is not: in this family a price step has previously meant a change of material. GDU8853T is the same World Supersport kit with a stainless collector instead of a titanium one, and that swap is worth roughly a thousand euro. Here both systems are full titanium with the same stainless cylinder, so the 476 is not a material difference. It is whatever the evolution consists of.
Two Silencers, One Collector
The layout is the one Spark uses across this whole group. A single collector gathers both cylinders and splits again into a pair of silencers that sit under the tail, which is where a Panigale has room and where the mass ends up close to the centre of the motorcycle. The rectangular cases are the World Supersport shape - flat-sided, with the outlet cut square rather than at an angle.
Ask Before You Order
The World Supersport kits in this group are built for prepared motorcycles, not standard ones. For GDU8836T, Spark states that in capital letters and lists four separate restrictions. GDU8852T is described in exactly the same words and belongs to the same family, so plan on the same conditions.
Because Spark publishes nothing separate for this number, we will confirm the restrictions against your build before the order leaves. Tell us the model year and what is already fitted, and we will check it against Spark before you commit four thousand euro.
Fitment & Compatibility
Ducati Panigale V2 955, 2020 to 2024, and Ducati Panigale 959, 2016 to 2019. The earlier World Supersport build is GDU8836T and its stainless-collector version is GDU8853T. The system built to fit a standard Panigale V2 is GDU8837T. The same collector with Grid-O or Moto GP silencers is GDU8832T and GDU8833T, and the 3/4 kit with pre-silencer box is GDU8850T.
Road Approval
None. The dealer list carries no homologation entry against this number and flags it as a racing item. Closed course only.
