DescriptionThe whole story▼
The OZ Cattiva wheel set brings genuine SBK racing technology to your Kawasaki ZX-10 R at a level of everyday usability that makes it one of the most rewarding upgrades available for the 2016–2020 model. Forged from premium magnesium by OZ's SBK Racing division, the Cattiva is the lightest wheel in the OZ range — and that reduction in rotating mass translates into sharper turn-in, quicker steering response and noticeably more composed braking every time you ride.
Key Features
- Forged magnesium construction — the lightest wheel OZ produces, delivering a meaningful reduction in unsprung and rotating mass.
- Six-spoke Cattiva design developed by OZ's SBK Racing department for an optimal balance of rigidity and low weight.
- Complete front and rear set (C3184KA35X + C6125KA60X) — direct replacement for the standard Kawasaki ZX-10 R wheels.
- Supplied with quality bearings, aluminium angle valves and spacers (fitted only where required), plus a sprocket carrier — note that the original rear sprocket is not compatible and must be replaced.
- Made in Italy to OZ's stringent manufacturing standards for long-term reliability.
- Optimised for track use, where the performance gains in agility, acceleration response and high-speed stability are most apparent.
Performance on Road and Track
Reducing rotating mass is one of the highest-return modifications you can make to a motorcycle. Every gram saved at the wheel rim requires less energy to accelerate and decelerate, which means the ZX-10 R responds more eagerly to throttle inputs, brakes with greater feel and changes direction with less effort from the rider. The Cattiva's six-spoke architecture stiffens the wheel under lateral cornering loads while keeping the overall mass as low as possible — a combination that riders feel immediately, not just on the stopwatch.
Build Quality
OZ has been supplying forged magnesium wheels to World Superbike and MotoGP teams for decades, and the Cattiva applies exactly the same metallurgy and forging process to road-going hardware. Each wheel is produced in Italy under tight quality controls, and the set arrives ready to mount with all necessary hardware included. The sprocket carrier accepts a standard aftermarket rear sprocket, giving you the freedom to fine-tune your gearing at the same time.
Fitment and Compatibility
This wheel set is engineered specifically for the Kawasaki ZX-10 R covering model years 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. It is a direct, bolt-on replacement for the factory wheels on those models. The original OEM rear sprocket is not compatible; a suitable aftermarket sprocket must be used with the included sprocket carrier. These wheels are optimised for track use.
