DescriptionThe whole story▼
Forged from the finest magnesium alloy and shaped by OZ's SBK Racing division, the Cattiva front wheel represents the lightest wheel in the entire OZ portfolio — an uncompromising track tool engineered specifically for the BMW S1000RR K67 (2019-2026, non-M Package). Every gram saved in rotating mass translates directly into sharper turn-in, faster direction changes, and a level of control that stock wheels simply cannot match.
Key Features
- Forged magnesium construction: the lightest wheel OZ produces, delivering a dramatic reduction in unsprung and rotating mass for measurably improved agility
- Six-spoke Cattiva design conceived by the OZ SBK Racing department — geometry optimised for maximum stiffness and torsional rigidity under race loads
- Reduced rotating mass sharpens throttle response, braking feel, and cornering precision at high speed
- Made in Italy to exacting OZ manufacturing standards, ensuring consistent quality and long-term durability
- Includes high-quality bearings, aluminium angled valves, and spacers where required — everything needed for a direct, no-compromise installation
Build Quality and Materials
The Cattiva's magnesium shell is not cast but forged — a process that aligns the grain structure of the metal and produces a wheel that is simultaneously lighter and stronger than an equivalent aluminium casting. OZ's SBK Racing division has applied the same manufacturing philosophy used in World Superbike competition: remove mass wherever physics allows, and reinforce precisely where structural loads demand it. The six-spoke layout is the result of that discipline, channelling braking torque and cornering forces through a geometry that resists flex without adding unnecessary material. The finish is applied after machining, so dimensional tolerances are never compromised by coating thickness.
Track Performance
Lower rotating inertia means the S1000RR accelerates out of corners more keenly, brakes with greater sensitivity, and responds to steering inputs with a directness that riders notice from the very first session. The Cattiva is not a road wheel pressed into occasional track use — it has been developed exclusively for race conditions, where the reduction in gyroscopic effect at high lean angles can be felt through every change of direction. Paired with slick or semi-slick tyres, it allows the chassis to work as the engineers intended, without the rotational mass of a heavier wheel blunting its reactions.
Fitment and Compatibility
This wheel fits the BMW S1000RR K67 manufactured between 2019 and 2026. It is not compatible with the M Package variant of the S1000RR. Confirm your build year and specification before ordering. Part number: C3232BM35X.
