Öhlins winds, heat-sets and measures each spring, so the rate on the label is the rate fitted.

Key Features

Dimension A 14 mm

Dimension C 5 mm

Öhlins part number 01671-02

Dimension B 6.5 mm

Original Öhlins service part

Function

14 mm, 6.5 mm, 5 mm: that is the whole specification, and it has to match what came out. A settled spring lowers the machine and steepens the steering without anyone changing a setting. Free length and inner diameter decide fit; the rate decides behaviour. Rates are offered in steps so a change can be made in one direction at a time.

Why the Original

Every part in this catalogue is one Öhlins fits itself during assembly and service. Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. The Öhlins exploded view names the number for each position; we can look it up if you do not have it. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you.

Getting the Number Right

Part number 01671-02 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. dimension a 14 mm, dimension b 6.5 mm, dimension c 5 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Progressive springs change rate through the stroke and suit short-travel machines. Free length and inner diameter decide fit; the rate decides behaviour.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 01671-02

Category: Springs

Dimension A: 14 mm

Dimension B: 6.5 mm

Dimension C: 5 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/01671-02_2a0c66c5-d757-4fd2-ac78-e5e4ed58b303.png?v=1788873932
