Housings carry bores for adjusters and seals; their concentricity decides whether the unit seals. Reservoir housings hold the gas charge and are pressure-rated accordingly. A housing carries adjusters and their seals, so its bores matter as much as its outside.

Original Öhlins Part

The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. Öhlins keeps service parts available for units long after they leave the current price list. Service parts are ordered per piece unless stated otherwise. The exploded drawing for your unit names the number; if you do not have it, we do.

Identifying the Right Part

Part number 04750-12 is unambiguous; the description alone is not, because Öhlins uses similar wording across sizes. dimension a 1.5 mm, dimension b 20 mm is what distinguishes this number from its neighbours in the range. Housings carry bores for adjusters and seals; their concentricity decides whether the unit seals. Öhlins anodises housings for corrosion resistance rather than for looks.

Fitting and Setup Service

Fitting service parts means opening a pressurised unit. As an authorised Öhlins service centre we do that here, with the right tools and a dyno check afterwards — just ask.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 04750-12

Category: Housings

Dimension A: 1.5 mm

Dimension B: 20 mm

Thread: M53x1.5

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/04750-12_606b7fb2-dc8b-46ca-b812-233a16aa52d9.png?v=1788873058
