The OBT008 sets the reservoir position on the MONSTER 1200 S at 60.6 mm and 90.3 mm. No finish to choose: LighTech lists the OBT008 in black alone. Nothing on the MONSTER 1200 S is cut or drilled to fit it.

Key Features

Nothing on the MONSTER 1200 S is drilled, cut or permanently altered

LighTech part number OBT008, listed for the Ducati MONSTER 1200 S

A stock LighTech item rather than a special order

Made in Italy

It is the smallest line on the order

Simple, intuitive mounting — LighTech's own description, and it holds

Looking After It

Check the bracket fasteners on the MONSTER 1200 S at the same interval as the bar clamps. There is no service interval for the part itself.

The Mount Decides the Fit

LighTech splits reservoir and bracket because the bracket is what varies by machine. The OBT008 is the front of the two brackets, measuring 60.6 mm and 90.3 mm. One bracket per reservoir — the MONSTER 1200 S needs the tank ordered alongside.

What It Fits

This listing covers the Ducati MONSTER 1200 S, 2014 to 2021. LighTech lists it as adaptable rather than model-specific, so check the position on the MONSTER 1200 S first.

Fitting

Allow half an hour on the MONSTER 1200 S including bleeding. Offer the bracket up before tightening — the hose run on the MONSTER 1200 S decides the angle. Re-check the fasteners after the first ride.

What You Get

LighTech ships the OBT008 on its own. Packaging carries the reference, so a second order is unambiguous.

Order This With It

The OBT008 is a bracket and nothing else. It is made for the LighTech reservoir range and fits none of the original parts. A complete installation on the MONSTER 1200 S is one tank plus one bracket.

Approval and Safety

What looks like a cosmetic swap on the MONSTER 1200 S is a change to a safety system. LighTech does not certify the OBT008 for road use, and neither do we. Track-only machines raise no approval question; a registered MONSTER 1200 S does.

Technical Data

Brand: LighTech

Part number: OBT008

Type: Reservoir bracket, front

Height: 60.6 mm

Projection: 90.3 mm

Material: Anodised aluminium

Finish: Black only

Fits reservoirs: OBT001, OBT006, OBT007

Weight: 10 g

Fitment: Ducati MONSTER 1200 S (2014 to 2021)

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/v_OBT008NER_7ececcfa-b28f-4a5e-a339-c19a1e6d73f3.png?v=1791204767
https://inter-pace.com/en-qa/products/lightech-reservoir-bracket-front-ducati-monster-1200-s-2014-2021-obt008
