DescriptionThe whole story▼
Riding the Panigale V4 hard demands a fork that can keep up on every circuit and on every road. The K-Tech 25IDS Open Cartridge Kit replaces the factory internals with a fully independent damping system, giving you precise, fatigue-free control whether you are threading through a mountain pass or chasing lap times at a track day.
Key Features
- 25mm Independent Damping System (25IDS) separates compression and rebound circuits for genuinely independent adjustment — change one without affecting the other
- 24 clicks of independent compression adjustment and 30 clicks of independent rebound adjustment provide an exceptional range of fine-tuning
- Increased stroke over the original cartridge improves wheel travel and compliance, reducing arm-pump and rider fatigue over long sessions
- Hard-anodised, super-finished components machined from aerospace-grade aluminium deliver lasting precision and resistance to wear
- Wide range of compatible 36-260-series springs available separately to match rider weight and riding style exactly
- Professional installation at an authorised K-Tech Service Centre is recommended to ensure correct setup from the outset
All-Day Comfort and Precise Control
Where stock cartridges force a compromise between comfort on the road and control on the circuit, the 25IDS architecture lets you dial each characteristic independently. With the compression set softer for a touring day and the rebound tuned for your preferred corner-exit feel, the fork works with you rather than against you — a crucial difference when hours in the saddle are involved. The super-finished inner surfaces reduce stiction to a minimum, so the fork responds to even the smallest road imperfections without transmitting harshness to your wrists.
Build Quality and Materials
Every component in the kit is machined from high-grade aerospace aluminium and then hard-anodised to a super-finished surface. This process eliminates microscopic roughness that causes stiction and premature wear, keeping damping characteristics consistent long after a standard cartridge would have faded. The result is a suspension system whose performance on the final lap of the day mirrors its performance on the first.
Fitment and Compatibility
This cartridge kit is engineered specifically for the Ducati Panigale V4 across all model years from 2018 to 2024. Please note that matching springs from the 36-260 series must be ordered separately. Installation by an authorised K-Tech Service Centre is strongly recommended.
