Design, Finish and Heritage
Fullsix built their reputation supplying carbon components to factory World Superbike teams, and every detail of the 'SBK' cover reflects that lineage. The weave itself is offered in two forms: 200 Plain carbon, whose uniform pattern closely mirrors the factory Ducati carbon aesthetic, and 245 Twill carbon, whose diagonal lattice delivers a richer, more visually complex surface that catches light from every angle. Both are finished to the same exacting standard as Fullsix's race-proven bodywork.
Four surface treatments let you define the character of the piece. Glossy carbon offers a deep, reflective finish that turns the weave into a visual centrepiece. Matte delivers a contemporary, understated look with a purposeful, race-ready character. Satin occupies the ground between the two — a controlled sheen that reads as refined rather than loud. Raw carbon is supplied without a top coat, making it the natural starting point for custom paint or bespoke finishing work.
Performance and Protection
Beyond aesthetics, the 'SBK' cover performs a genuine functional role. Carbon fibre's inherent rigidity means the cover resists deformation from stone strikes and debris that would mark or crack lesser materials. By sealing the shock body from contamination, it helps maintain consistent damper performance across longer service intervals — a consideration that matters whether you are commuting or completing a track day on your Panigale 899. The cover is motorsport-tested under the demanding conditions for which the 'SBK' name was originally coined.
