Fibres cut at an angle and filled with resin leave a grey line; fibres wrapped around the edge do not.

It is the single detail worth looking at closely in the photographs, and it is the reason two headlight fairings can differ in price by a factor of two.

Fitment and Compatibility

Ducati Monster 1200, model years 2014 to 2016, with the original headlight. The 2017 facelift changed the front end and this part does not fit those bikes. Check the model year carefully — this is the part most often ordered for the wrong one.

Road Approval

Fullsix publishes neither an ABE nor an EC type-approval number for this part. The surround holds the headlight, so its position is relevant to approval in several markets — confirm the position for your own registration before road use.

Check the Beam After Fitting

Any part that holds the headlight can move it, even when it is a like-for-like replacement. A millimetre at the mount is several centimetres at twenty-five metres.

Put the bike against a wall after fitting and compare the cut-off to where it was before. It costs nothing and it is the difference between a legal beam and one that annoys everyone coming the other way.

Specifications

Brand — Fullsix

Part — Headlight fairing

Material — autoclave-cured carbon, 200 Plain or 245 Twill weave

Finishes — clear coat, matt, satin, raw

Fitment — Ducati Monster 1200, 2014-2016

Road approval — not documented by the manufacturer

https://inter-pace.com/en-qa/products/fullsix-carbon-headlight-fairing-for-ducati-monster-1200-2014-2016
