DescriptionThe whole story▼
Not every enduro bike is a toy. Forestry staff, trail marshals, event organisers and mountain rescue teams use machines like this because they go where a vehicle cannot and carry a person who has to arrive fit to do something useful. A working bike is ridden in poor conditions by people who are not trying to be quick, and it gets knocked over accordingly. Accossato lists the AGD316 for the 350EXC-F from 2014 to 2023, a silver front brake lever in the original form.
Key Features
- Front brake lever in the original form for the KTM 350EXC-F
- Accossato's entry runs from 2014 to 2023 and includes the factory edition of 2015
- Silver
- Right of the handlebar, front brake
- One of Accossato's original spare parts types
- The manufacturer reports improved resistance after damage or a fall
- One lever
- No test papers on file; listed for racing and competition
Construction and Material Quality
For a machine that has to be available rather than impressive, a plain replacement is the right answer. The AGD316 keeps the shape of the brake lever the 350EXC-F was delivered with, so the repair changes nothing about the way the bike is ridden and leaves the cockpit as the factory specified it. Accossato developed the range as original spare parts types with the cost of an everyday repair in view, and it states that the production process behind the levers leaves them more resistant once they have taken damage or a collision. Silver is the colour given here, and no further specification is published.
A Bike That Is Used for Work
A machine that has a job behaves differently in the workshop. Downtime is the expensive part rather than the parts themselves, so the sensible approach is to hold a small stock of the things that stop a bike being usable and to replace them on a schedule rather than after a failure. Controls are top of that list, together with pivot bolts and a tube of grease. Somebody looking after two or three bikes of this kind will find it worth keeping a labelled box with a blade for each side, because the alternative is a machine standing idle while a courier does its work. The second habit is the inspection. Anyone can be taught to sight along a lever for straightness, to hold the end and feel for play at the pivot, and to watch that the blade returns fully when released, and those three checks catch almost everything before it becomes a problem on a hillside. The third is honesty about damage: a bent lever on a bike used for work gets replaced, not straightened, because the person riding it next may not be the person who bent it and will have no idea what to expect. A 350EXC-F looked after on those terms is a remarkably dependable tool, and none of it depends on expensive components.
Fitment and Compatibility
On Accossato's list the AGD316 covers the 350EXC-F from 2014 to 2023, while the AGD10 is given for 2012 to 2018, so a machine from the overlapping seasons appears under both and the fitted blade decides; the clutch side is the AGS14 from 2012 to 2023. The brake code is shared widely with related machines and is listed with us for the Husqvarna FE 350, the Husqvarna FS 450 and the Husqvarna TC 250 as well. Accossato names no CNC lever for this model in our data, so the original-type entry is the one we can offer.
Road Approval
Accossato supplied no test certificate or approval paper for the AGD316, so neither a German ABE nor a test mark can be quoted and we list it for racing and competition use.
