DescriptionThe whole story▼
Teenagers who race a Husqvarna TC 125 have a habit of outgrowing things. Over a single winter a young rider can shoot up noticeably, and the boots that fitted last spring are suddenly too tight. The bike does not grow with them, so its set-up has to be looked at again: handlebar, levers, brake pedal, gear lever and footpegs all affect how a changing body fits the machine. One small part of that review can be a set of Accossato's enlarged Ergal footpegs, listed for the TC 125 of 2023 to 2026 in orange, blue or black.

Construction and Material Quality
Accossato, which is based today in Villastellone near Turin, describes the FR809 as enlarged footpegs made of Ergal for motocross, enduro and off-road motorcycles. Ergal is a high-strength aluminium alloy. The enlarged size offers the boot more surface than a small peg, useful for a young rider whose feet are growing along with the rest of them. You receive the left and the right peg, in orange, blue or black for the current TC 125.
A New Boot Size Every Season
Parents who look after a young rider's bike soon learn to check the set-up at the start of every season. Taller riders need the handlebar higher or further forward so they can stand without stooping, and the levers have to follow so the wrists stay straight. Bigger boots change the way the feet meet the gear lever and rear brake pedal; a pedal that was right last year may now sit under the sole all the time, dragging the brake. All of this can usually be adjusted within the range the TC 125 offers.
Broader pegs are a natural part of the same review. They give growing feet in bigger boots more support when standing, and they help a young rider who is still learning to ride on the balls of the feet. After fitting, check that each peg folds and returns freely, reset the gear lever and brake pedal to suit the new boots, and ride a few gentle laps before pushing on. Keep a note of the settings each season; it makes it easier to see what has changed as the rider grows.
Fitment and Compatibility
Accossato's list gives three footpeg sets for the TC 125, and the FR809 belongs to the newest bikes, 2023 to 2026. For the TC 125 of 2016 to 2022 you need the FR798, and for 2014 and 2015 the FR795. Check the year, compare photos and colours, and ask us if you are not sure. The FR809 is also listed in our shop for the FC 250, the TE 300 and the KTM 125 SX.
Road Approval
Neither an ABE nor any other approval has come to us with these pegs, which we therefore sell for competition.
