DescriptionThe whole story▼

The EC 300 is the largest-displacement two-stroke in GasGas's long-running EC enduro range, built for riders who want the most torque the platform offers. Accossato's ABH01 front brake and clutch reservoir cover fits the EC 300 built between 2003 and 2019, in blue or red.

Key Features

  • Front brake and clutch reservoir cover for the GasGas EC 300, 2003 to 2019
  • Accossato code ABH01
  • Available in blue or red
  • Fits over the combined front brake and clutch reservoir caps
  • Same code also listed for the GasGas EC 250, the Beta RR 430 4T and the Honda CRF150R
  • No German ABE on file; built for off-road and competition riding

Construction and Material Quality

Accossato makes the ABH01 to the same reservoir shape fitted across the EC 300's long production run, so it clips on exactly as the original cover does regardless of which year the bike was built. Blue or red is the choice on offer, and either simply takes the place of whatever colour the existing cover has faded to. A chipped or missing original does nothing to how the bike rides, but it is one of the quicker cosmetic fixes to make.

Keeping Spares for an Older Bike

Riders running an EC 300 built towards the start of its long production run are increasingly dealing with a bike where small parts are harder to find in original form, and a reservoir cover is exactly the kind of item that tends to crack or go missing over fifteen or more years of use. Ordering the ABH01 directly from Accossato's current range avoids the usual hunt through used listings for a part this small, and keeping one as a spare means a future knock does not leave the bike looking unfinished for long.

Fitment and Compatibility

Accossato's application list covers the EC 300 from 2003 to 2019 for the ABH01. The same cover is also listed for the GasGas EC 250, the Beta RR 430 4T and the Honda CRF150R, all sharing the same reservoir despite the spread of brands. Accossato does not list a separate rear reservoir cover for the EC 300 in this range. Checking the exact build year against the application list before ordering is still worth doing.

Road Approval

No German ABE is on file for the ABH01, so Accossato lists it for off-road and competition use rather than for use on public roads.

Scope of Delivery
