A drop-in element does not make a standard Z900 noticeably stronger; the F1-85 makes sense when the machine's use supplies the short oil intervals and frequent inspection that a coarser aperture assumes. Where air is not enough, lukewarm water with a little mild detergent and a thorough rinse will finish the job. Dry it in moving air only; heat guns, radiators and flames all destroy polyester. Refit it dry, untreated, with nothing sprayed on.
