Top caps carry the adjusters and the preload mechanism. Inner tubes are coated because they run in bushings and seals for their whole life. Öhlins fork parts are specific to the fork model, not interchangeable across the range.

Original Öhlins Part

Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. Öhlins supports units that are decades old, which is why the spare parts list runs to thousands of numbers. We can supply the whole position from the drawing rather than the single piece if that is easier. Tell us the damper's model designation and year and we will match the number for you.

Getting the Number Right

Öhlins identifies this position by the number 21009-21 in the exploded view for the unit it belongs to. Öhlins states dimension a 49 mm, dimension b 176 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Öhlins anodises the bore where the bushings run. Inner tubes carry a low-friction coating; once it is through, the seals wear quickly.

Fitting and Setup Service

Ask us about a full service: as an authorised Öhlins centre we strip, inspect, replace what is worn and set the unit back to its specification.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21009-21

Category: Outer Tubes

Dimension A: 49 mm

Dimension B: 176 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21009-21_763c117e-b2bc-44be-8e25-3e4dddecc2fc.png?v=1788879259
