A marked inner tube destroys seals repeatedly until it is replaced.

Key Features

Dimension B 76 mm

Öhlins part number 21005-04

Original Öhlins service part

Dimension A 36 mm

What It Is

At 36 mm, 76 mm it fits one position only; the next size up carries a different number. Inner tubes carry a low-friction coating; once it is through, the seals wear quickly. Öhlins fork parts are specific to the fork model, not interchangeable across the range. Öhlins publishes tube diameters by fork model, and they are not interchangeable across the range.

Genuine Service Part

The alternative to a service part is usually a new damper, which is why this catalogue exists. Parts remain available years after a unit leaves the current price list, which is unusual in this trade. The exploded drawing for your unit names the number; if you do not have it, we do. Öhlins numbers do not follow a logic you can guess — always read them from the documentation.

Getting the Number Right

21005-04 is the Öhlins number for this position — the same one printed in the service documentation. Öhlins states dimension a 36 mm, dimension b 76 mm for this number, and those figures are the deciding ones. Bushings in the fork carry the side load; play there shows up as knocking under braking. Öhlins publishes tube diameters by fork model, and they are not interchangeable across the range.

Fitting and Setup Service

Öhlins recommends that its units are serviced by an authorised centre. We are one: rebuild, revalve and setup all happen in our own workshop.

Specifications

Brand: Öhlins

Part Number: 21005-04

Category: Inner Tubes

Dimension A: 36 mm

Dimension B: 76 mm

Country of Origin: Sweden

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0949/7831/0410/files/21005-04_6c072dfb-ebfb-4a7a-85de-c97e51f13b92.png?v=1788879217
