Öhlins measures each spring after setting rather than relying on the winding specification. Rates are offered in steps so a change can be made in one direction at a time. Free length and inner diameter decide whether a spring fits; the rate decides whether it suits.

Genuine Service Part

Öhlins publishes dimensions for its service parts so a workshop can verify before it fits. Rebuilding to specification only works if the parts are to specification — that starts here. Service parts are supplied per piece unless the description says otherwise. Send us the model and serial number of your unit and we will confirm the position before you order.

Identifying the Right Part

Order under 05679-01. Where several sizes share a description, only the number separates them. Where no measurement is given, the drawing position is what identifies the part. Free length and inner diameter decide fit; the rate decides behaviour.
